CAESAR Aeneas advancing left, carrying palladium in his right hand and Anchises on his left shoulder. Babelon (Julia) 10. Crawford 458/1. CRI 55. RBW 1600. Sydenham 1013. Beautifully toned and struck on a exceptionally broad flan. Thin flan fault on the obverse and the reverse struck slightly off center and with very minor weakness, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
